Art. 243 Accidental finds

1 Forensic evid­ence or items found that are not con­nec­ted with the of­fence un­der in­vest­ig­a­tion but which ap­pears to re­late to a dif­fer­ent of­fence shall be se­cured.

2 The items shall be handed over with a re­port there­on to the dir­ect­or of pro­ceed­ings, who shall de­cide on the fur­ther course of ac­tion.
