Art. 148

1For ex­ist­ing ex­pos­ure situ­ations, a ref­er­ence level of 1 mSv per cal­en­dar year ap­plies. This is without pre­ju­dice to the radon ref­er­ence level spe­cified in Art­icle 155 and the threshold level spe­cified in Art­icle 156.

2 The FOPH may re­com­mend to the Fed­er­al Coun­cil, in in­di­vidu­al cases, ref­er­ence levels of up to 20 mSv per cal­en­dar year, in par­tic­u­lar if meas­ures are re­quired in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 171.
