Art.170 Building materials

1For build­ing ma­ter­i­als iden­ti­fied as be­ing of con­cern from a ra­di­olo­gic­al pro­tec­tion point of view, the FOPH shall, to de­term­ine pub­lic ex­pos­ure, es­tab­lish by means of spot checks wheth­er the activ­ity con­cen­tra­tion in­dex is great­er than 1.

2 If the activ­ity con­cen­tra­tion in­dex is great­er than 1, the FOPH shall carry out a dose es­tim­a­tion to en­sure that the ref­er­ence level spe­cified in Art­icle 148 is com­plied with.

3 The FOPH shall in­form the pub­lic of the res­ults.
