Art. 15 Principles 22

1 An­im­als must be trans­por­ted un­der pro­tec­ted con­di­tions and without un­ne­ces­sary delay. The trav­el­ling time from the place of load­ing must not be more than six hours. The Fed­er­al Coun­cil shall is­sue the ex­cep­tion pro­vi­sions.

2 Hav­ing con­sul­ted the in­dustry or­gan­isa­tions, the Fed­er­al Coun­cil shall reg­u­late re­quire­ments for the con­tinu­ing edu­ca­tion and train­ing of per­son­nel en­trus­ted with the com­mer­cial trans­port of an­im­als.
