Art. 20 Recording personal details in the case of mobile services

1 In the case of mo­bile ser­vices, TSPs and re­tail­ers in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 2 let­ter f SPTA must, on sup­ply­ing the means of ac­cess or on the ini­tial ac­tiv­a­tion of the ser­vice, veri­fy the iden­tity of the sub­scriber by means of a pass­port, an iden­tity card or a for­eign na­tion­al iden­tity card in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 71 and 71a of the Or­din­ance of 24 Oc­to­ber 20078 on Ad­mis­sion, Peri­od of Stay and Em­ploy­ment. They must re­tain an eas­ily legible copy of the iden­tity doc­u­ment.

2 In the case of the nat­ur­al per­sons, the fol­low­ing de­tails must be re­cor­ded:

a.
sur­names and fore­names;
b.
date of birth;
c.
type of iden­tity doc­u­ment, iden­tity doc­u­ment num­ber and the is­su­ing coun­try or is­su­ing or­gan­isa­tion;
d.
ad­dress;
e.
if known, oc­cu­pa­tion;
f.
na­tion­al­ity.

3 In the case of leg­al en­tit­ies, the fol­low­ing de­tails must be re­cor­ded:

a.
name, re­gistered of­fice and con­tact de­tails for the leg­al en­tity;
b.
busi­ness iden­ti­fic­a­tion num­ber (UID) in ac­cord­ance with the Fed­er­al Act of 18 June 20109 on the Busi­ness Iden­ti­fic­a­tion Num­ber;
c.
if avail­able, the names and fore­names of the per­sons who will use the pro­vider’s ser­vices.

4 In the case of cus­tom­er re­la­tion­ships that are not based on a sub­scrip­tion con­tract, the fol­low­ing de­tails must also be re­cor­ded:

a.
the time at which the means of ac­cess was sup­plied;
b.
the point of sup­ply (name and com­plete ad­dress);
c.
the name of the per­son sup­ply­ing the means of ac­cess.
