Art. 24 Standardisation of types of information and surveillance

1 The Fed­er­al Justice and Po­lice De­part­ment (FD­JP) shall stand­ard­ise the types of in­form­a­tion and sur­veil­lance that are defined in this Or­din­ance.

2 If, based on the in­ter­na­tion­al stand­ards and the en­quir­ies made of the per­sons or en­tit­ies re­quired to co­oper­ate, it proves im­possible or un­reas­on­able to stand­ard­ise a type of in­form­a­tion or sur­veil­lance, the FD­JP shall dis­pense with do­ing so.
