Ordinance
on the Surveillance of Post and Telecommunications
(SPTO)

¹ Sur­veil­lance Type RT_54_­POS_ONCE com­prises in each case the im­me­di­ate non-re­cur­rent po­s­i­tion de­term­in­a­tion by the net­work of all mo­bile ter­min­al devices as­so­ci­ated with the tar­get ID.

² Po­s­i­tion de­term­in­a­tion shall be car­ried out by the net­work us­ing an im­me­di­ate po­s­i­tion­ing func­tion in ac­cord­ance with the FD­JP reg­u­la­tions.

³ The fol­low­ing data shall be trans­mit­ted im­me­di­ately:

a.

the MS­ISDN or GP­SI, IMEI or PEI and IM­SI or SUPI ob­served, at least one of these data, and any of the oth­ers if avail­able;

b.

net­work iden­ti­fi­er for the loc­a­tion ser­vice cli­ent and the timestamp of the po­s­i­tion de­term­ined;

c.

in the case of suc­cess­ful po­s­i­tion de­term­in­a­tion: the timestamp of the po­s­i­tion and the fol­low­ing po­s­i­tion data:

1.

if avail­able, the po­s­i­tion­ing meth­od,

2.

if avail­able, data on the ac­cur­acy of the po­s­i­tion,

3.

the po­s­i­tion in the form of:

–

geo­graph­ic­al co­ordin­ates and if ap­plic­able the as­so­ci­ated un­cer­tainty val­ues

–

poly­gons, with de­tails of the geo­graph­ic­al co­ordin­ates of each poly­gon point or

–

oth­er data in ac­cord­ance with in­ter­na­tion­al stand­ards, and

4.

if avail­able, the alti­tude data for the po­s­i­tion, the ser­vice qual­ity, the move­ment status and the speed and dir­ec­tion of move­ment of the ter­min­al device;

d.

in the case of un­suc­cess­ful po­s­i­tion de­term­in­a­tion: the reas­on for fail­ure (er­ror code) and the loc­a­tion data spe­cified in Art­icle 63 for the most re­cent de­tect­able activ­ity, at no ad­di­tion­al cost.
