on Swiss Persons and Institutions Abroad
(Swiss Abroad Ordinance, SAO)

(Art. 16 para. 1 SAA)

¹ Swiss Abroad who sign fed­er­al re­quests for ref­er­en­dums or pop­u­lar ini­ti­at­ives must state their elect­or­al com­mune and can­ton on the sig­na­ture list.

² As their place of res­id­ence they should state the ad­dress abroad (in­clud­ing coun­try and mu­ni­cip­al­ity) to which the vot­ing ma­ter­i­als were sent.
