to the Federal Act on the Promotion
of Research and Innovation
(Research and Innovation Promotion Ordinance, RIPO)

¹ In­no­suisse shall cal­cu­late fund­ing for over­heads on the basis of pro­ject con­tri­bu­tions that it has ap­proved for the cal­en­dar year with­in the frame­work:

a.

of ap­proved budgets; and

b.

max­im­um fund­ing thresholds es­tab­lished by the Swiss Par­lia­ment in the cor­res­pond­ing ap­pro­pri­ation bill.

² It shall in­dic­ate the amount of fund­ing to be paid when ap­prov­ing pro­jects.

³ Fund­ing for over­heads shall be in­cluded in the fund­ing con­tri­bu­tions paid for dir­ect re­search costs..
