(Art. 17 para. 2 FoIA)²⁴

¹ The au­thor­ity shall waive fees where the cost of col­lect­ing them would ex­ceed the fee amount. Fees of less than 100 francs shall not be charged.

² Costs which res­ult ex­clus­ively from meet­ing the spe­cial needs of dis­abled per­sons are not factored in­to the cal­cu­la­tion of fees.

³ The au­thor­ity may waive or re­duce fees where it denies an ap­plic­a­tion for ac­cess or only grants par­tial ac­cess.

⁴ If the au­thor­ity charges a fee for an ap­plic­a­tion for ac­cess made by a journ­al­ist, it shall re­duce this fee by 50 per cent.²⁵
