Art. 3 Transparency

(Art. 2 para. 2 and Art. 5 paras. 2 and 3 ArchA)

1 The bod­ies re­quired to of­fer their doc­u­ments to the Fed­er­al Archives shall en­sure that their activ­it­ies can be veri­fied and jus­ti­fied on the basis of those doc­u­ments. They shall take the or­gan­isa­tion­al, ad­min­is­trat­ive and tech­nic­al meas­ures ne­ces­sary for the pro­duc­tion and man­age­ment of doc­u­ments fit for archiv­ing.
