Ordinance
on the Avoidance and the Disposal of Waste
(Waste Ordinance, ADWO)

¹ Waste must be re­cycled or re­covered for en­ergy provided re­cov­ery does less harm to the en­vir­on­ment than:

a.

any oth­er form of dis­pos­al; and

b.

the man­u­fac­ture of new products or the ac­quis­i­tion of oth­er heat­ing fuels.

² Re­cov­ery must be car­ried out ac­cord­ing to the state of the art.
