Art. 159

A. Mar­it­al uni­on; rights and du­ties of spouses

 

1The wed­ding ce­re­mony binds the spouses in mar­it­al uni­on.

2They mu­tu­ally un­der­take to strive to safe­guard the in­terests of the mar­it­al uni­on and to care jointly for the chil­dren.

3They owe each oth­er loy­alty and sup­port.
