¹If an heir dies be­fore dis­claim­ing or ac­cept­ing an in­her­it­ance, the right to dis­claim passes to his or her heirs.

²For such heirs, the dis­claim­er time lim­it be­gins on the date on which they learned that the in­her­it­ance passed to the de­ceased heir and ends no soon­er than the date on which the time lim­it for dis­claim­ing the in­her­it­ance from the de­ceased heir ex­pires.

³Where such heirs dis­claim the in­her­it­ance and it passes to oth­er heirs who pre­vi­ously had no suc­ces­sion rights, the dis­claim­er time lim­it for the lat­ter be­gins on the date on which they learned of the dis­claim­er.
