Allocation and sale of specific objects 1Where the value of an object belonging to the estate would be substantially diminished if such object were divided, it is allocated in its entirety to one of the heirs. 2Where the heirs are unable to agree on the division or allocation of an object, it must be sold and the proceeds divided. 3At the request of an heir, such sale must be carried out at auction and, in the absence of agreement among the heirs, the competent authority decides whether such auction is to be public or only among the heirs. |
