G. Public law 1 Subject to the duty of relatives to provide support, public law determines who must bear the costs of maintenance if neither the parents nor the child may defray them. 2 Public law also governs the provision of advances to maintain the child if the parents fail to fulfil their duty of maintenance. 369Amended by No I 1 of the FA of 25 June 1976, in force since 1 Jan. 1978 (AS 1977 237; BBl 1974 II 1). |
