VII. Jurisdiction 1. In general 1 Child protection measures are ordered by the child protection authorities at the child’s domicile.439 2 If the child lives with foster parents or otherwise outside the parental family home or if there is risk in delay, responsibility also rests with the authorities of the place in which the child is currently staying. 3 If the latter authorities implement a child protection measure, they must inform the authority at the child’s domicile. 438Amended by No I 1 of the FA of 25 June 1976, in force since 1 Jan. 1978 (AS 1977 237; BBl 1974 II 1). 439 Amended by No I 2 of the FA of 19 Dec. 2008 (Adult Protection Law, Law of Persons and Law of Children), in force since 1 Jan. 2013 (AS 2011 725; BBl 20067001). |
