Art. 232 Closing submissions

1After the evid­ence is taken, the parties may com­ment on the res­ult of the evid­ence and on the mer­its of the case. The plaintiff speaks first. The court shall al­low the parties the op­por­tun­ity for a second round of sub­mis­sions.

2The parties may jointly dis­pense with or­al clos­ing sub­mis­sions and re­quest the sub­mis­sion of writ­ten party sub­mis­sions. The court shall set a dead­line for the same.
