¹ The court may hold in­struc­tion hear­ings at any time dur­ing the pro­ceed­ings.

² In­struc­tion hear­ings are held to dis­cuss the mat­ter in dis­pute in an in­form­al man­ner, to com­plete the facts, to at­tempt to reach an agree­ment and to pre­pare for the main hear­ing.

³ The court may take evid­ence.
