¹ With the au­thor­isa­tion of the court, the ex­pert may carry out his or her own en­quir­ies. He or she must dis­close the res­ults of the en­quir­ies in the opin­ion.

² At the re­quest of a party or ex of­fi­cio, the court may or­der that the ex­pert's en­quir­ies be car­ried out again in ac­cord­ance with the rules on tak­ing evid­ence.
