¹ The no­ti­fied third party may:

a.

in­ter­vene in fa­vour of the no­ti­fy­ing prin­cip­al party, without fur­ther con­di­tions; or

b.

pro­ceed in place of the no­ti­fy­ing prin­cip­al party, with the con­sent of the lat­ter.

² If the no­ti­fied third party re­fuses to in­ter­vene or does not an­swer the no­ti­fic­a­tion, the pro­ceed­ings shall con­tin­ue without con­sid­er­ing the third party.
