Art. 141a Principles
1The court may conduct procedural acts orally on request or ex officio by using electronic audio or video equipment, in particular by videoconference, or authorise the persons participating in the proceedings to do so by using such equipment, unless the law provides otherwise and all parties agree. 2 If this Code requires the parties to appear in person, the use of electronic equipment is only permitted if the parties agree and there are no overriding public or private interests to the contrary. 3 If a hearing in accordance with this Code is public, the court shall grant access to the courtroom on request. The court may also grant access by electronic means without a prior request being required. |
