Art. 204 Personal appearance
1 The parties must appear in person at the conciliation hearing. If a legal entity is a party, a corporate body or a person who has a commercial power of attorney must appear on its behalf who is authorised to conduct the proceedings and conclude a settlement and who is familiar with the subject matter of the dispute.134 2 The parties may be accompanied by legal agent or a confidant.135 3 The following persons are exempt from appearing in person and may send a representative:
