¹ The court shall serve the de­fend­ant with the state­ment of claim and at the same time set a dead­line for fil­ing a writ­ten state­ment of de­fence.

² Art­icle 221 ap­plies to the state­ment of de­fence by ana­logy. The de­fend­ant must state therein which of the plaintiff's fac­tu­al al­leg­a­tions are ac­cep­ted and which are dis­puted.

³ The court may or­der that the state­ment of de­fence be lim­ited to spe­cif­ic is­sues or pray­ers (Art. 125).

⁴ It shall serve the plaintiff with the state­ment of de­fence.
