Art. 291 Conciliation hearing
1 The court shall summon the parties to a hearing and establish whether there are grounds for divorce. 2 If grounds for divorce are established, the court shall attempt to secure an agreement between the spouses with regard to the effects of the divorce. 3 If grounds for divorce are not established or if an agreement cannot be reached, the court shall give the plaintiff the opportunity to state or add to the grounds. The proceedings shall be continued with the parties as adversaries.
