Art. 304 Jurisdiction
1 The court that has jurisdiction to decide the paternity action shall also decide on the deposit, the advance payment, the disbursement of deposited amounts and the refund of advances. 2 In an action for maintenance, the court shall also decide on parental responsibility and other child-related issues. If a parent-child relationship is established, the parents have party status. The court may assign the roles of plaintiff and defendant.238 238 Inserted by Annex No 2 of the FA of 20 March 2015 (Child Maintenance) (AS 2015 4299; BBl 2014 529).
