Art. 30 Making available on the market

1 Line-con­nec­ted tele­com­mu­nic­a­tions in­stall­a­tions may only be made avail­able on the mar­ket if they com­ply with the ap­plic­able pro­vi­sions the LVEO61 and the OEMC62 in re­la­tion to be­ing made avail­able on the mar­ket.

2 The fol­low­ing line-con­nec­ted tele­com­mu­nic­a­tions ter­min­al equip­ment is ex­emp­ted from para­graph 1, but may only be put in­to ser­vice and op­er­ated if it does not present a risk to per­sons or prop­erty and does not cause harm­ful in­ter­fer­ence to tele­com­mu­nic­a­tions and ra­dio broad­cast­ing:

a.
equip­ment that is put in­to ser­vice and op­er­ated for a max­im­um of 18 months ex­clus­ively for tech­nic­al tests;
b.
equip­ment that is put in­to ser­vice and op­er­ated ex­clus­ively by in­sti­tu­tion­al be­ne­fi­ciar­ies who en­joy priv­ileges, im­munit­ies and fa­cil­it­ies un­der Art­icle 2 para­graph 1 let­ters a, b, d–f, i, k and l of the Host State Act of 22 June 200763 with­in their build­ing or parts of their build­ing or on dir­ectly ad­ja­cent land.
