Art. 88 Data protection

1 The su­per­vis­ory au­thor­it­ies may pro­cess sens­it­ive per­son­al data if this is ne­ces­sary for the per­form­ance of the du­ties im­posed by this Act.

2 Data pro­cessing by the su­per­vis­ory au­thor­it­ies and su­per­vi­sion there­of are gov­erned by the pro­vi­sions of the Fed­er­al Act of 19 June 199291 on Data Pro­tec­tion which ap­ply to fed­er­al bod­ies.
