Art. 74 Information to the public
1The public prosecutor, the courts and, with the consent of the courts, the police may provide the public with information on pending proceedings where this is required:
2The police may also inform the public on their own initiative about accidents and offences without naming the persons involved. 3When providing information to the public, the presumption of innocence and the personal privacy of the persons concerned must be observed. 4In cases involving a victim, authorities and private individuals may only identify the victim or provide information that enables his or her identification outside public court proceedings if:
