Art. 38 Information Request Type IR_8_IP (NAT): Identification of the users in the case of IP addresses that are not uniquely assigned (NAT)

1 In­form­a­tion Re­quest Type IR_8_IP (NAT) com­prises the fol­low­ing in­form­a­tion about the iden­ti­fied sub­scriber if this per­son was not as­signed a unique IP ad­dress (NAT) at the time in ques­tion:

a.
if avail­able, the unique sub­scriber iden­ti­fi­er (e.g. user name);
b.
the unique ser­vice iden­ti­fi­er (e.g. user name, MS­ISDN, DSL iden­ti­fi­er) of the net­work ac­cess ser­vice.

2 The re­quest for in­form­a­tion shall con­tain in­form­a­tion about the NAT trans­la­tion pro­ced­ure for the pur­pose of iden­ti­fic­a­tion:

a.
the pub­lic source IP ad­dress;
b.
if re­quired for iden­ti­fic­a­tion, the pub­lic source port num­ber;
c.
if re­quired for iden­ti­fic­a­tion, the pub­lic des­tin­a­tion IP ad­dress;
d.
if re­quired for iden­ti­fic­a­tion, the des­tin­a­tion port num­ber;
e.
if re­quired for iden­ti­fic­a­tion, the type of trans­port pro­tocol;
f.
the date and time.
