on the Surveillance of Post and Telecommunications
(SPTO)

¹ In­form­a­tion Re­quest Type IR_21_TECH com­prises the pro­vi­sion of tech­nic­al data re­lat­ing to tele­com­mu­nic­a­tions sys­tems and net­work ele­ments, in par­tic­u­lar the loc­a­tion data for mo­bile ra­dio cells and pub­lic WLAN ac­cess points.

² The loc­a­tion data com­prise:

a.

the iden­ti­fi­ers of net­work ele­ments (e.g. CGI, ECGI, SAI, RAI, TAI, BSSID) and the geo­graph­ic­al co­ordin­ates or oth­er de­tails of the loc­a­tion in ac­cord­ance with in­ter­na­tion­al stand­ards;

b.

if ap­plic­able, the postal ad­dress of the loc­a­tion;

c.

if ap­plic­able, the main dir­ec­tions of emis­sion of the an­ten­nae; and

d.

if ap­plic­able, oth­er avail­able loc­a­tion fea­tures.

³ The re­quest for in­form­a­tion shall spe­cify the peri­od to which the re­quest relates. It shall con­tain at least one of the fol­low­ing query cri­ter­ia:

a.

the geo­graph­ic­al co­ordin­ates of the loc­a­tion of the net­work ele­ment;

b.

the iden­ti­fi­er of the net­work ele­ment (e.g. CGI, ECGI, BSSID).
