If third parties are en­gaged by the pro­vider to as­sist in provid­ing in­form­a­tion or con­duct­ing sur­veil­lance activ­it­ies, they shall be sub­ject to the same re­quire­ments as the pro­vider. The pro­vider re­mains re­spons­ible for provid­ing in­form­a­tion and con­duct­ing the sur­veil­lance activ­it­ies ordered to the ex­tent spe­cified; in par­tic­u­lar it shall take the meas­ures re­quired to en­sure that suit­able con­tact per­sons for provid­ing in­form­a­tion and con­duct­ing the sur­veil­lance activ­it­ies ordered are avail­able to the PTSS at all times. Both the pro­vider as­signed the task by the PTSS and its as­sist­ants serve as con­tact points for the PTSS.
