Art. 19 Identification of the participants

1 TSPs, PDC­Ss with more ex­tens­ive du­ties to provide in­form­a­tion in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 22, PDC­Ss with more ex­tens­ive sur­veil­lance du­ties in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 52 and re­tail­ers in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 2 let­ter f SPTA must en­sure that sub­scribers are iden­ti­fied by suit­able means.

2 In the case of pro­fes­sion­ally op­er­ated pub­lic WLAN ac­cess points21, TSPs must en­sure that all end users are iden­ti­fied by suit­able means.

21 Term in ac­cord­ance with No 1 para. 1 of the FA of 15 Nov. 2023, in force since 1 Jan. 2024 (AS 2023 685). This amend­ment is made in the pro­vi­sions spe­cified in the AS.
