Art. 47 Responsibility

(Art. 39 para. 1 and 40 para. 1 SAA)

De­cisions re­gard­ing the pro­vi­sion, scope and lim­it­a­tion of con­su­lar pro­tec­tion are made by:

a.
the FD­FA for nat­ur­al per­sons;
b.
the Fed­er­al De­part­ment of Eco­nom­ic Af­fairs, Edu­ca­tion and Re­search in agree­ment with the FD­FA for leg­al en­tit­ies.
