Art. 47 Particular conditions of allocation

1 If a domain name is not yet allocated and the general conditions prescribed in Article 25 are met, the registry shall allocate the name to the first applicant who applies for it.

2 The registry does not check the merits of the rights to use the alphanumeric denominations of domain names. Disputes relating to the rights attached to distinctive signs in relation to domain names are governed by civil law.
