Art. 12 Transitional provision

1 The FOT may grant ex­cep­tions for per­son­nel who have hitherto per­formed rail­way po­lice tasks un­der the ex­ist­ing law that ex­empt them from the train­ing re­quire­ments (Art. 8).

By 30 June 2012 the trans­port com­pan­ies shall:

a.
trans­fer the Trans­port Po­lice tasks car­ried out un­der ex­ist­ing law by private or­gan­isa­tions to a Trans­port Po­lice ser­vice es­tab­lished in ac­cord­ance with this Or­din­ance;
b.
trans­fer the Trans­port Po­lice tasks car­ried out un­der ex­ist­ing law by trans­port com­pany per­son­nel to se­cur­ity per­son­nel in ac­cord­ance with this Or­din­ance;
c.
amend con­tracts with se­cur­ity un­der­tak­ings entered in­to un­der ex­ist­ing law so as to bring them in­to line with this Or­din­ance.
