Art. 45 Summary investigation and summary report: General remarks

1 The In­vest­ig­a­tion Bur­eau may con­clude an in­vest­ig­a­tion if it is es­tab­lished as a res­ult of the ini­tial in­vest­ig­a­tion activ­it­ies that fur­ther in­vest­ig­a­tion activ­it­ies will not provide any use­ful find­ings.

2 It may lim­it it­self in a sum­mary in­vest­ig­a­tion to in­ter­view­ing the per­sons in­volved and oth­er per­sons con­cerned.

3 It shall is­sue a sum­mary re­port. This shall provide in­form­a­tion on the per­sons and means of trans­port in­volved and the events of the in­cid­ent.

4 It shall pub­lish the re­port on­line.
