Art. 51 Inspection of files

1 The fol­low­ing per­sons may file a re­quest to in­spect the case files:

a.
per­sons dir­ectly con­cerned by the in­vest­ig­a­tion;
b.
the com­pet­ent fed­er­al of­fice;
c.
the can­ton­al pro­sec­u­tion au­thor­it­ies;
d.
the per­sons in­volved in the in­vest­ig­a­tion who rep­res­ent a for­eign state.

2 The right to in­spect files may be lim­ited, re­fused or post­poned if the in­terests of the in­vest­ig­a­tion un­der this Or­din­ance or of an­oth­er on­go­ing in­vest­ig­a­tion so re­quire.

3 If the in­vest­ig­a­tion has been con­cluded, the In­vest­ig­a­tion Bur­eau shall make the files avail­able on re­quest to the com­pet­ent in­vest­ig­at­ing, court and ad­min­is­trat­ive au­thor­it­ies for the pur­poses of their pro­ceed­ings.
