III. Proof of undisputed information 1 Where documentary proof of information concerning civil status is required but is impossible or unreasonably difficult to obtain despite making reasonable efforts, the cantonal supervisory authority may accept a declaration made in the presence of the registrar as proof provided such information is not disputed. 2The registrar shall remind any person making such a declaration of his or her duty to tell the truth and that a false declaration may lead to prosecution. |
